Celebrating 10 Months!
Our baby girl is 10 months-old today! I can’t believe we are just 2 short months away from celebrating her first birthday. In so many ways, I love each passing month. I love seeing her little personality continue to develop. I love seeing her learn to mimic every little thing that we do. I love seeing her explore her world, becoming a little more independent each day. But I hate that there is no way to re-live any of this over again.
All we can hope is that, when we look back these pictures they will remind us of the way that she shook her head like she knew what it meant to say “no”. I hope they will remind us of the way that she would wave good-bye with her fist clenched at anyone and everyone she saw. I hope I remember changing her diaper after her first attempts at feeding herself, wondering how more peas ended up in her diaper than in her mouth. And I hope we can still hear her little snort and remember how she scrunches her nose up like me when she gets excited.
With each passing month I find myself hoping that it gets a little easier, and it doesn’t but I am thankful that with every passing month there is more and more to celebrate!
To celebrate 10 months I continued our little tradition by making Anniston the “Elise Headband”.
